How much power does the USB connection draw to power this adapter? Does it have to be connected to USB 3.0 port? (HDMIDP)
Under 5V/500mA, USB 2.0 port is enough.
What are the power requirements exactly? Will HDMI only power be sufficient (4.8-5.3Vdc at 55mA)?
This adapter requires 5V/300mA (1.5W) from the HDMI bus in order to power up. The USB power cable is necessary when the HDMI bus doesn't provide enough power.
